Biography Work + Sound
Led by Fee Steinvorth and Allison Bagg
Sunday, June 28th, 1:00–3:00 PM
Join us in our DTLA loft for an afternoon of biography work and sound. Led by Fee Steinvorth, this gathering offers an introduction to biography work: a creative and contemplative practice that invites us into deeper relationship with ourselves and one another through the lens of human development. Exploring themes such as life phases, temperament, and soul qualities, biography work helps us uncover meaning within our own experiences while cultivating curiosity about the lives of others.
Through drawing, writing, and other forms of creative expression, we move beyond purely intellectual understanding. Creativity becomes a bridge to memory, insight, and interconnectedness, allowing new perspectives to emerge organically.
The afternoon will begin with a guiding question offered by Fee. In response to a collection of thoughtfully selected postcards, participants will be invited into their own creative exploration. We will then gather to share reflections within the group before transitioning into a restorative sound bath led by Allison Bagg — an opportunity for integration and deep listening.
Fee Steinvorth is an artist and facilitator whose work bridges creativity, self-discovery, and personal development. She has studied Biography and Social Art, as well as Herbalism and Ayurvedic practices, weaving together diverse approaches to holistic growth and well-being. For over a decade, she has guided individuals and groups through transformative experiences rooted in reflection, imagination, and embodied awareness. Driven by a deep curiosity about human potential, Fee's work explores how creativity can help us evolve, connect, and grow together.
"Through art, I see myself in each individual, and from that deep connection arises compassion. Every card I use in this practice is dear to me - I've been collecting them since childhood. People find themselves in these cards, and it's fascinating how symbolism speaks to all of us." ~~ Fee Steinvorth
