March 8th: Boxing for Balance
Boxing for Balance with Tyler Corcoran
March 8th, 1:00-3:00 pm
Join us in the loft for a powerful afternoon of boxing and reflection with coach and mentor Tyler Corcoran. This work is rooted in recovery, accountability, and lived experience. After spending 19 years incarcerated under a life sentence, Tyler rebuilt his life through a deep commitment to self-awareness, responsibility, and service. Boxing 4 Balance is the training practice Tyler created from that foundation. It is both a boxing program and a way of life.
Built on four core practices: awareness, accountability, acceptance, and acts of service; and guided by the principles of balance, timing, distance, and precision. His transformation taught him that real change begins with honesty and ownership of one’s thoughts, emotions, and actions. Today, he draws on his lived experience to guide others toward balance, discipline, and personal responsibility. The work applies in and out of the ring, helping participants develop discipline, emotional awareness, and responsibility.
